Readalikes: Sure Bets (3/25/25)

Our current topic is Readalikes from a variety of perspectives. Our fifth and final Readalike topic in March is Sure Bets (3/25/25). We began Readalikes with Author in May 2024 and over the summer we looked at Mood in September 2024, followed by Title in November 2024, and in January 2025, Style.

For the Sure Bets Readalike benchmark, everyone reads TBA. In addition to reading the Benchmark, come to the discussion with at least one to three authors/titles that you feel are a good Readalike for TBA, and be prepared to explain why based on Appeal.

Please note that your Choice title in this Sure Bets Readalike assignment includes an additional step like previous Readalike Choice assignments: Please choose one title for a Sure Bet from either the suggested list on our blog, or one that you choose yourself. Provide at least one to three Readalikes for that Sure Bet based on the Appeal of the book you read as well as write a brief review on our blog under Submit Choice Titles above.
